Oι πρώτες μου δημιουργίες / My first creations

Τότε άρχισα κι εγώ να τους ράβω ρούχα μιας και έχω κάποιες γνώσεις και εμπειρία στο ράψιμο, με πατρόν που βρήκα στο e- bay. Διαπίστωσα τότε λοιπόν ότι αυτή μου η ασχολία με απορροφούσε και με ενθουσίαζε πολύ, κάτι που ισχύει και ως τώρα. Είναι πραγματικά απολαυστικό να δημιουργώ ρούχα για αυτά τα πανέμορφα μοντέλα.

It was then that I started sewing up my own creations, thanks to my know ledges and experience at sewing, using fashion-plates I found on E- bay. Hence, I saw that hobby of mine has engrossed and enthused me till now. It is truly enjoying creating clothes for these gorgeous models.

Véronique Perrin Natural Perfection

Κάποια στιγμή, κι ενώ είχα παραγγείλει ήδη την Overachiever, βρήκα σε πολύ καλή τιμή την Véronique Perrin Natural Perfection και την πήρα αμέσως. Ήρθε πολύ γρήγορα κι έτσι στις 2.07.2008 απέκτησα την πρώτη μου Véronique η οποία με εντυπωσίασε εξίσου. Διαπίστωσα ότι είχε επίσης εκπληκτική φωτογένεια και της ταίριαζε κάθε στυλ ρούχων.

At some point and while I had already ordered Eugenia Overachiever, I found Veronique Perrin Natural Perfection at a bargain price and I immediately bought her. She was shipped to me quickly and like that at 02.07.2008 I obtained my first Veronique which equally impressed me. I noted that she was also amazingly photogenic and that she looked great in any fashion style.

Fashion Royalty Reference List

Κι ενώ έψαχνα να βρω την Overachiever σε συμφέρουσα τιμή και ταυτόχρονα να ενημερώνομαι για τις Fashion Royalty βρήκα μια Reference List , όπου μπόρεσα να δω όλη τη συλλογή από το 2003. Πραγματικά εντυπωσιάστηκα! Ο ενθουσιασμός μου ήταν τόσος που έκανε τους φίλους μου να απορήσουν καθώς μιλούσα μόνο γι’ αυτές. Άρχισα να κρατώ αρχείο φωτογραφιών μ’ αυτές που μου άρεσαν περισσότερο. Άλλωστε κάποιες είναι τόσο ακριβές που ήξερα ότι μόνο από φωτογραφίες θα τις βλέπω, όπως αυτή για παραδειγμα στη φωτογραφια,Vanessa Perrin Poésie Sans Couleur.

While I was searching a bargain price for Overachiever and at the same time to keep up with Fashion Royalty Dolls, I found a reference list in which I found the full collection of 2003. I was truly impressed! My enthusiasm was so big that I couldn’t talk or think or anything else which made my friends wonder! I started keep achieves of the dolls I liked the most.
To be honest, some of them are so expensive that I knew that the only way to see them is only from their photos. Like the one in this photo for instance, Vanessa Perrin Poésie Sans Couleur.

Οι πρώτες φωτογραφίες / The first pictures

Αμέσως άρχισα να τη φωτογραφίζω και διαπίστωσα την εκπληκτική της φωτογένεια. Ως τώρα είναι η κούκλα της συλλογής μου που έχω φωτογραφίσει περισσότερο.


I immediately started taking pictures of her and discovered her amazing photogenic. Until that point she is the most photographed doll of my collection.

Φυσικά θεώρησα πολύ υψηλή την τιμή της και αρχικά παραξενεύτηκα που υπάρχουν άνθρωποι που δίνουν τόσα λεφτά για μια κούκλα. Τώρα που ανήκω κι εγώ σα αυτούς ξέρω το γιατί και μπορώ να το καταλάβω. Μετά από λίγες μέρες προβληματισμού και καθώς πλησίαζαν τα γενέθλια μου τον Αύγουστο, ξεπέρασα τους δισταγμούς μου και έκρινα ότι πρέπει να κάνω αυτό το δώρο στον εαυτό μου καθώς σε λίγο θα έκλεινα τα σαράντα δύο μου χρόνια. Απέκτησα την Eugenia Frost Going Public στις 30.06.2008 και μπορώ να πω ότι από κοντά με εντυπωσίασε περισσότερο ακόμη, όχι μόνο η ίδια αλλά και το κουτί , τα ρούχα, τα κοσμήματα, τα παπούτσια. Όλα ήταν υψηλής ποιότητας και προσεγμένα στην παραμικρή λεπτομέρεια. Πραγματικά Royalty!!!

At first, I reckoned her price extremely high and the fact that there were people who spent so much money on a doll seemed rather peculiar. However, that I am now one of them I do know why and I can totally understand it. Furthermore, after several days of hard thinking and while my birthday on August was near, I overcame all my hesitations and I decided that I must buy myself that present. After all I was about to turn forty two. That is how I obtained Eugenia Frost Going Public on 30.06.2008 and I must say that at close quarters she surprised me even more, not only the doll itself but the box, the clothes, the jewellery and the shoes as well. They all were of great quality and meticulous in the smallest detail. True Royalty!!!

H γνωριμία μου με τις Fashion Royalty Dolls /My introduction to Fashion Royalty Dolls

Οι κούκλες- μοντέλα μου άρεσαν από παιδί. Θυμάμαι τον εαυτό μου να χαζεύει τις Barbie με τις ώρες. Συστηματικά όμως σαν συλλέκτρια, ασχολούμαι τον τελευταίο χρόνο. Έχω ήδη μια πλούσια συλλογή από Barbie Τop Μodels, my scene και πολλές, πάρα πολλές Βratz αγόρια και κορίτσια που μου αρέσουν πολύ.
Τις Fashion Royalty τις ανακάλυψα τυχαία στο e-bay καθώς έψαχνα για κάτι άλλο, τον Μάιο του 2008. Η πρώτη που είδα και είναι η πιο αγαπημένη μου είναι η Eugenia Frost Overachiever.

Όμως δεν ήταν αυτή η πρώτη που απέκτησα, καθώς ψάχνοντας περισσότερες πληροφορίες γι' αυτές, για την εταιρία Integrity Toys και τον δημιουργό τους Jason Wu, έπεσα πάνω στην Eugenia Frost Going Public. Δεν πίστευα στα μάτια μου, ούτε φανταζόμουν ποτέ ότι μπορεί να υπάρχει μια τόσο όμορφη κούκλα.

I used to like model-dolls since I was a child! I remember myself staring at Barbie dolls for hours. However, I’ve only been methodically working on them as a collector for a year. I already have a rich collection of Barbie Top Models, My Scene and many, extremely many boys and girls Bratz, which I like very much.
I discovered Fashion Royalty Dolls totally random on Ebay during an irrelevant search on May of 2008. The first doll I saw and since then is my most favourite was Eugenia Frost Overachiever.

However she wasn’t the first I obtained, as I was looking for more information about the dolls, the Integrity Toys company and their designer Jason Wu, I bumped into Eugenia Frost Going Public. Not only I couldn’t believe in my own eyes, but I couldn’t imagine that a doll of such beauty really exists.
